Daisy Alicea-Ortiz : Owner and CEO

I was born and raised in New York City. My family moved to Philadelphia when I was about 10 years old. As a small child, I always had a love for animals – whether big or small. I spent my childhood summers with my grandfather on his farm, and rode horses as a kid. There is where my love for animals took seed. I learned to care for goats, chickens, dogs and horses – it never felt like work, because I loved to care for animals, so for me personally…it was a joy, it gave me peace to be surrounded by land and all of God’s creatures. That kid vowed to one day, be able to provide a safe and loving environment for all neglected and unloved animals.
My goal in life – back then – as it is now; was to make sure that any animal in need of love or care – would have it, no matter what. For me personally, the creation of My Chi's Pet Sitting, is to provide that commitment through my services, and care. To fulfill the dream of that little kid on the farm – and bring to life My Chi's Pet Sitting, in order to provide love and care for any animal under my supervision.
